Their summer basketball camps include an elite boys basketball camp and a unique one for parents and kids.

Bill Self, head coach at Kansas, brings a wealth of experience and basketball know-how to each session. No doubt players of all ages can learn from a coach who can boast over an 80% winning percentage at KU, a national championship, 8 straight regular-season Big 12 titles, and 5 Big 12 tournament championships.

With the help of his Kansas players, assistants, and other outstanding coaching personnel, players are guaranteed an incredible hoops camp experience.

Jayhawk Youth Basketball Camps

Individual Camp

5-day youth basketball camps for boys 8-18 years old.

With overnight and day camp options, the purpose this boys basketball camp is to teach fundamental basketball skills with an emphasis on individual  skill development and team play.

Team Camp

3-day camp that KU claims is the premier team camp in the Midwest. Open to all high school teams, participants are split up into competitive divisions with a guarantee of 7 games.

Parent-Child Camp

2-day KU basketball camp is open to boys and girls 4-7 years old and their parents. What a great way to spend time with your kids and build memories that will last a lifetime! The emphasis is on learning basic skills and using them in fun and exciting games.

Elite Camp

2-day boys basketball camp for 10th-12th graders. This is not a youth basketball camp for beginners, but it's intended for elite high school players planning to play NCAA Division I basketball.

Players will focus on position development and team play in addition to seminars with topics pertinent to college student-athletes covering areas like nutrition, academics, strength and conditioning, and NCAA eligibility requirements.

Jayhawk Girls Basketball Camps

If you're looking for KU basketball camps for girls, the University of Kansas women's program has several options you need to check out.

Elite Camp

3-day camp for girls in the 10th-12th grade or who have at least one year of varsity playing experience.

This camp is designed for players who want to develop more advanced offensive and defensive skills.


Individual Camp

4-day camp for girls in the 5th-12th grade with an emphasis on fundamental skill development.

Junior Jayhawk Camp

4-day girls and boys basketball camp for kids in the 1st-5th grade. This camp is perfect for teaching young beginners the very basic skills and rules of the game.

Jayhawk Team Jamboree

1-day team camp that gives teams the chance to test their skills against other high-caliber teams. Teams are divided into competitive pools and compete in a round robin format with a guarantee of 4 games.

This KU basketball camp is open to high school varsity, JV, and AAU teams.

In addition to competition, teams will be given information about NCAA student-athlete compliance and the recruiting process.
